Orchids of Peru

As any orchid fancier knows, there are thousands of varieties from all over the world, and probably thousands more that have not been discovered or named. Hence, any collection of orchid photos is the equivalent of showing closeups of the grains of sand under your footprint on a sandy beach. But, I still think they're fun to look at. I have this bad habit of photographing flowers. Here are a few shots of orchids I took in Peru in the Spring of 2008. Don't ask me about the names, etc. Just enjoy them.
